Cheque Presentation 2023 to the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital

On Friday, November 24, 2023, the Brain & Co Foundation held its cheque presentation to the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital. With great pride and gratitude, Henriette Hendriksz, on behalf of the board, presented the impressive amount of €70,000, raised during the 2023 Heldendiner, to Dr. Leila Akkari’s research team.

Dr. Leila Akkari had invited her entire research team, and together with other staff members of the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital, the guests of the Brain & Co Foundation were able to learn more about the promising brain-focused immunotherapy. Dr. Leila Akkari spoke about the background, progress, and international collaboration in groundbreaking research in the fight against brain tumors.

After a group photo session, the event concluded with a pleasant reception. We are already looking forward to a new presentation in 2024!
